Foundation of design and Typography

Yes well. Design is altogether seperate from owning a copy of
photoshop or dreamweaver. Some of you may notice your not
getting the results you want even with the greatest new toys.
An overview of design concepts and theory is order

I dont have the time or patients for long books so I found this
site quite useful. I hope it is useful to you as well.

That wont be enough if you want to be a well educated designer... Good start, but w/o books and good masters you never be able to create good visual designs. And being a good designer is not just being good educated. Much pracicing, trying experimentig, breaking the rules, observing the world etc.

WOW! That is an excellent site! I have just started taking many classes and reading a lot about proper design and aesthetics, and it seems that someone put a lot of work into that site and there is a lot mor to learn!

yes looking in site is good idea, but better start looking what like in the eye of the customer because is the one that pays you.

in other words my advise is:
forget the GRRRREAAT desings and start looking at well paid desing.

Actually I hate to say that, but that site is terrible.
I mean - how can someone talk about a design if the site he put all info to is terrible, images are shit, layout isn't easy to navigate with eyes, etc. I mean - this is not a good site at all!

mr serge, i agree with you, sadly. You can't take anything so seriously on the site, because of the poor design and production. Some of the text has good information, but who would try to read it amid all those ugly graphics. A for effort, but failure to execute.
