Dreamweaver 8 for sure, great features, and a nice interface

The way Dreamweaver works with WebDAV and FTP is one of the best features. I've been using it since version 3 and it's become like Photoshop -- I can't live without it. But I still sometimes pop open Notepad when I just need to make a quick tweak.

Neptitue I do not really get this, since you can edit code much like in notepad, why not use dreamweaver ? Is it a matter of fast loading/conveinience of notepad for very small stuff ?

I agree that dreamweaver is the best HTML editor. I also think howevwer we cannot forget thqt frontpage has merits as well, after all it is what brought WYSIWYG to the masses and the new version supposed to come out with office2007, which I forget the name since things are a bit confusing right now, is supposed to be a very strong contenter for dreamweaver. We shall see.

Smile Well I can not understand

anyone is using dreamweaver or macromedia programs as they are so confusing.
I use Golive for years now and it is so easy and intuitive usable, I am really sorry adobe will give up golive to work on dreamweaver now... only can hope, they change it to some better overviewable user interface and intuitive arrangement of the features now (as nearly all adobe programs have)...
