Web Design Help, Please!

web_design_help_please-firefox_ok.gif

web_design_help_please-ie7_bad.gif

Hi, I'm just getting involved in 'proper' web design, but tearing my hair out trying to figure out why some text is breaking out of a right hand column in Internet Explorer 7 (see screen captures for how it looks compared to how it looks in Firefox). Can anyone shed some light? Appreciate it.

Probably conflicting css

Hi,

it seems to me like a css problem.
but without the source code it's not easy to help.

I'll take a look at it if you give me the link to the site.

best regards,

PITOU_X

Yup the source code is the key. Without it almost impossible to tell what the problem is.

lol ... give the guy something to work with! no use complaining about source codes availability.

@nikB, try and use the css block-level "clear" property. clear, just clears what you define ... pretty self explanatory right?

clear: none;
clear: right;
clear:left;
clear:both;

try and add "clear:both" on the div statement used by the problematic text block.

hth!
