Which CMS to use?

Hi — I am looking for a CMS which should handle following situation:
  • limited access for guests (for example, only the first paragraph of content is shown, images are disabled, search function is limited or something like that)
  • full modus only for registered users
  • an account should last for a limited time. Passwords should be disabled automatically
  • no multi user, I would be the only person who build up the content
  • should work on most browser (that one shouldn’t be the hardest part)
  • full featured text search possibilities

Which CMS would be the best: Typo3, YAML or something completely different?
Which extensions can handle the User-Logins and the content-cropping?

Any ideas?

I am only expirienced in joomla.
- you can decide what articles or site modules can be seen by registered users only.
- you can give different rights to users. so some can even publish articles via web browser.
- of course only the administrator account has access to the backend where the content is managed.

- not sure whether there is a module for time limited user accounts, but i think there should be some.

- text search also possible.

- Browser compatibility depends on the template you are using. there are professional joomla templates which are fully xhtml-compliant and with build in hacks for internet-explorer6 (like transparent pngs). and those templates can easily be found on warez sites.
i heard the next joomla1.5 is designed to be table-free.

i don't think there is a lot of difference between all those cms. i guess they all work with php/mysql. i chose joomla because there is a big community and a lot of modules and components out there.

So many CMS out there that it's hard to decide.
There's a decent site that allows you to test them out :
Code:

You'll probably find Joomla has a good community to support you as you use it. As p1k said, it takes heaps of add-ons, so there's that room for expansion. Give it a shot, .

i love mambo, its soo easy to use. joomla's core is based on this, though you cant go wrong with both.
