If you have access to Flash, take a look at SlideShowPro

This is a really easy to use component for Flash, you just drag the component to where you want it on your stage and set up some parameters. The final .swf file reads an XML document for all the info it needs to make the slideshow happen.

The slideshow can be embedded in an HTML document, joomla! template, stand alone in a flash player, run from CD, etc, etc.

It doesn't come any easier than this.

I have been creating an online "instant" gallery-maker application so I have researched this quite a bit. I have a pretty long list of competitors, each of which would probably be able to help you!

Big Black Bag (Status quo)
CarbonMade (I recommend this one... my best competitor)
Youki.be Simple instant flash galleries. Two themes.
Noovo (social networking instant sites)
Sort of expensive, easy to use

I have a lot more like this if you are interested...

I have researched this quite a bit as I am creating a site to make instant online galleries. As a result I have a huge list of competitors... the best ones in my opinion:
