Graphic Card for Autodesk Lustre & Assimilate Scratch - gfx elite forums

I wan'na upgrade my graphic card soon, and I need help.

Which are the best graphic card that will give me the best performance with Lustre & Scratch:
Quadro FX 570 or GeForce 8800 GT

For Scratch >>> Quadro FX 570, i think that it works just fine...
for Lustre the advised is NVIDIA FX 4000 SDI graphics card...

Yeah, it really looks like a Quadro is a must. You find very low prices for them at price search engines. And about the model . . . I don't know exactly, but I think it must be bigger than FX 570, like b30wu1fx said. Lustre uses GPU acceleration.

The 8800 gt is lot more powerfull then the fx570 and the best thing is you can soft mod the 8800 gt to use the quadro drivers . And as far as luster and scratch are concerned the data bandwith from your harddisk is more important than the graphic card for realtime interaction

Go for Quadro FX 570 because I have it on my machine.
