Rendering in Lustre

Hi,

I have a problem rendering a grade in Lustre...
In the rendered sequences the secondaries are missing... someone knows how to
render it out correctly??

Second Problem (not that important :) ) :

My second monitor is not working correctly in Lustre... it looks like a redraw issue, because I cant click on buttons on the 2nd monitor...and btw how can I say Lustre that it should show the image fullscreen on the 2nd monitor?

thanks in advance

I'm also not yet familiar with two monitors and Lustre, but I can access all buttons. I don't know yet what secondaries are, so I can't help much now. Rendering is working good here.

It's a program I have to get used to, and I guess in a few months we will know more.

Hi visual production,

Before I answer your question I wanna ask you a few questions first.
1. Have you set your render folder in projects panel?
2. Have you save your grade before you render it?
3. Have you load the right grade before you render it?

I never use 2 monitors with Lustre before. You can use DVS card and a broadcast monitor to get a full screen view.

Hi pisscok,

1. Yes I have but its not rendering in this directory but in a folder called 'grd'
2. Do I save a grade by clicking 'save' in the grade bin? Well I didnt do that... I tried it and now the rendering is just black...
3. I just have one so I think yes....

thanks for the help!

OK visual production,

It seems like you can render your grade in Lustre but the problem is the render files is just black.

1. First thing to do is check your color space, input & output, and any conversion that you make.
2. In the render panel, make sure you flag your scene or shot.
3. In the output subpanel, enable same as input option.
4. Lock your grade.
5. Go to the first frame in your timeline.
6. Start render.

I tried what you sad but rendered images are still black....

but when I deactivate the secondaries its working (with primary).....

edit: When I turn off the GPU-Acceleration the preview gets black.....also when I cache it (caching works with primary only) ..... could that be the problem when the rendering is just done by the CPU? I hope not

I never experienced that before.
Maybe it's a graphic card problem.

Why you have to turn off the GPU-Acceleration?

Hey visual production,

Which version do you use?
Are you sure you have your scene & cut loaded?
Are you sure you have type your grade's name?

About your black rendered images:
Check your input LUT & calibration LUT!

Lustre is a step-by-step system. You can't make a grade before you make a scene or cut, you can't make a scene before you make a project. Your projects have to be in the right folder structure with your footages in order to tell Lustre that your footages is in the <HOME> directory.
Your footages will look outrageous if you haven't set your input LUT & calibrate them. And don't forget to set the color space & resolution.

Those are the steps that you have to make before you go to Colour panel to make your beauty grade.
