1. Rules for opening a new thread.
1.1. Before opening a new thread
read all the forum rules.

Search the entire board before posting to see if it was already posted, if such a thread exists - opening new is strictly forbidden. If you have a different link for the same item posted, add it as a mirror to the existing post.
1.3. The name and the description of a new thread should be clear.
1.4. Post in the correct forum. The created thread should correspond to subjects of the section as much as possible.

NO SERIALS OR ANY OTHER REGISTRATION INFORMATION IS ALLOWED ON THIS BOARD. Attach a txt file to the post. So: NO SERIALS (i.e. NS787SDEER455S4D5) OR REGISTRATION INFO (Name. e-mail, etc.) allowed on the boards. Serials in images are also banned.
3.3.
Do NOT create thanks posts (For example: "Thank you dude!").

3.4. POSTING IMAGES,
No images linked to official sites, (ie, software developers, Amazon, Template Monster, etc.) This is a big security risk.

3.5.
Insults to other users of the forum in any form are strictly forbidden. There will be no flaming of other members for any reason. Respect GFXworld Staff and other Members. GFXworld is open to people of all ages and nationalities. Do not assume everyone has English as their first language. NO trashing or hijacking other people's threads. NO Bumping Posts. No profanity (bad words) or use of obscene/abusive words in posts.

3.7. Maintain a valid email address so you can be contacted. A valid email address is required so please be advised that if you do not provide a valid email address, and you violate any forum rules, your account will be deleted.
3.8. Post in the correct forum.
3.9. If you break the rules Admin or Mods will decide how each situation will be handled. Moderators make the decisions and ADMIN HAVE THE FINAL WORD. Don't argue with Moderators or Administrators. Regardless of your opinion, Moderators + Administrators have the final say.
If you argue with them you may find yourself banned.
3.10. Avatars and signatures will be done in good taste. If you have to ask yourself "will this offend someone" it probably will so don't use it.
3.11.
No Spamming on the Forum, in Messages, Sigs or Avatars.
3.12. Add a description of the item you are posting and add a link to the home page, or developer's page, if available.
3.13.
Requests are only allowed in the Request Forums and you are allowed only one request per post. Your request may not get a reply; do not post the same request more than once. Be specific. No porn, political, or religious requests are allowed. Use the search engine before posting a request and do more than one search, using different terms, to make sure the item you seek has not already been posted.
DO NOT PM MODS OR ADMIN REQUESTING THEY LOCATE ITEMS FOR YOU. Use the requests sections only!!
3.14.
This a gfx forum so non gfx related threads will be deleted.

No political or religious topics
3.16. Please do not post links before they are finished uploading.
3.17.
Posts relating to the making of explosives, illicit drugs, etc, are not allowed and will be closed and the links removed. Re-posting of such closed topics will result in a warning. Subsequent offences may result in a ban without notice.

NO PORN OR LINKS TO PORN ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THE FORUM!
