This could definitly be a nice addition to max, kind of a little "rhino" integrated right within max. I did play a bit with the older versions and they were a bit instable, let's hope this new one will work better, they're time when nurbs could really come handy :)

If it was true, it would be great improvement, I guess. I've been using PowerNurbs but not for modeling but for importing Rhino Nurbs into 3ds max. Having native Rhino3D and(or) other NURBS format support within max environment would be definitely one of the reasons for swithing to max...

Well i hardly believe that nPOWER Nurbs allow to do what Rhino or Alias can do with nurbs, but is a nice addon to have in max.
What i hope is that autodesk get a little less messy now that she owns 3ds max, maya, alias studio the optimal result would be to publish a modular 3d tool wich cover the best aspects of these 3 products with a consistent look and feel a true pipe-lined inter-operability.

powernurbs definetly kicks ass....
enhanced parametrics and construction history when used within max comparing to rhino4... crack would be very nice :-)
very good control over tesselation when rendering within max.
you have also a lot of nurbs analysis stuff implemented within powernurbs.
check out the videos on their webspace :-) really neat workflow and "artist like approach" :-)
cheers..and yep...please crack that beauty

I can only drool about this tool right now. I am just learning the basics of Max, but there will come a day when I can use this.

Ahhh.... good dreams.
