mudbox is available.

This now over mudbox for 649. dollar or non profit would like 299. dollar be able to everyone to buy the mudbox legally. Good bye zbrush and welcome mudbox.

nice...mudbox rox...I?ve tried zbrush but I really dont like his pipeline and interface...then I tried mudbox frist beta and I was really surprised I?m really looking forward full version...then I must persuade my boss to buy it and use it in next project :)

Beware virus held in an image

virus......... of type 'exploit.wmf'


I experienced a number of strange delays at the site, plus an image 15.6 kb tries to download..my virus checker tells me there is a virus within the image.
So be careful.............

I might be wrong, but the site seems to download from another site and then redirect. Also if the beta was released for trial..... and download, or the programme for sale......... all beta users would be notified one would think. And, a number of the links don't appear to work....... who knows all may be fine and they might be testing their site for the release......

I am sure Mudbox will be a big competitor to ZBrush, but I think both are
trying to cover different tasks. The big and skilled Userbase of ZBrush is very
open to other apps but comes every time back to it cause of it´t possibilitys.
First time mode arrived all was saying "uhh, Zbrush is death" , but it never
happend. Beside this, Mudbox will for sure get his place in several Pipelines.

we have spies at board! The beta 3 was offered release 14 . . only here. This is known to CGtalk and this was spoken about in the board. Skymatter wants to take care now to fill this hole!

Spies are plain overall. If Skymatter able to fill the hole this would really be
a great loss. :-(
