According to area.autodesk site Maya 2009 is available for download if you are on subscription.

The messages has changed:

At long last, Maya 2009 is now available for download if you are on subscription!Today, Oct. 6, we start shipping Maya so folks should be seeing a package some time this week.

For those who have read the comments from folks below, the subscription team is still working on sorting things out. Some people have 2009 and others should get it soon...

Both Mudbox 2009 and Maya 2009 are available for purchase online.
