there's a hell of a lot to learn from traditional art and artists, and it'd give anyone's art technique strength to have studied it. but i don't consider there to be anything 'inferior' about digital as a medium. (i find it can make me lazy or unfocused to use the computer to draw, especially early concept stuff, I don't often yet get that feeling of 'flow' that I remember from art classes at school. but i'd consider that my inexperience with digital art, not a problem with the medium.)

yes i agree, i think traditional art is the medium used to branh into the 21st century. No matter what you do it always goes back to your ability to draw

Currently I am studying graphics and my teacher was shocked with the difference of works that I do with computer and traditionaly. I think that even if you can live with this it's better to have some traditional drawing skill which I am trying to improve. But in the end it's all based on the understanding how things work.
