This is something I have been working on the lighting, texturing and rendering of a loft

all the effects are wanted... the light under the stairs is not an artefact, it is iluminating ribbons... the white in white thing is hard to adjust. The idea has not been to render realistic (this is why there is no displacement there and a not realistic ligh) - as this loft is a dark hole we had to add *some* lighting

well, I might add some more from this project - we will see. have fun.

well the house exists and the planning was not mine, it had been done by an architect.

My part was only the mentioned one.

here some more... first the upper floor, then the other side... not all the views, just a few.

these are the final ones they printed... just in small quality

well the style is too white in my eyes even I like white rooms to live in. The sterile construction is 'cause this loft is used for VIP's that come to visit the town.

it is fully automated and the pool as you can see is completely from glass so you can see through the bottom to the lower floor

oh and I nearly forgot - LOL SOME of you know these already as they helped me with rendering the final scenes as there are gemini and malasuerte =) thx for giving your PC power guys.

Everything is fine, but if I was in your shoes, I would add some 'white clouds' and then increase the contrast a little to achieve good separation.
I know, I know you have developed your skills a lot in 17 months...

Had Doc been practising Max for last 17 months now?
