ZBrushWorkshops Next round of "ZBrush 4.0 Foundation & Intermediate” LIVE ONLINE classes starts on 10/19/2010.
Each comprehensive 5 WEEK class happens live and online. You have to be there to make the most out of the class, but each class is also recorded so you don't have to miss a thing! Each three hour session applies those concepts with real-world production artist workflows and techniques....
this is my first professional work , ie: "for money" but i did other stuff just for fun , so all feedback and critics bad or good are welcomed just hit me =] ,and any tips to make my work better , thx
about the project :
i used 3dmax and vray
gi with irridiance map and light cache and used an 0cclusion pass
Inspired by fractal and math art, and continuing from a previous post, I have been playing some more. I built the basic Moebius form for this object in Lightwave Modeler using the Art's Sphere plugin Extrude+ and took it back and forth from Modeler and TopMod for alterations. Very quick renders in Maxwell to see whats what...having fun with these forms! Working on a scene for this and others...but so far I am happy to just view the models as structural entities on their own.
Technically speaking this is a Mengerized subdivided wire frame Moebius manifold...i think, but could be wrong there.
Been messing around with a free math program, julia4d. This object was generated from the equation: Z = cos(Z)^a + C*cos(Z)^a...I don't have a clue what that means but it makes for an interesting sculpture.
I have been playing with the idea of rigging this thing and animating it as conjoined quadruplets...maybe that's too weird, but it sure looks like 4 eyeless characters to me.
Having some fun with it though. Cheers, Ron
This is something I have been working on the lighting, texturing and rendering of a loft
all the effects are wanted... the light under the stairs is not an artefact, it is iluminating ribbons... the white in white thing is hard to adjust. The idea has not been to render realistic (this is why there is no displacement there and a not realistic ligh) - as this loft is a dark hole we had to add *some* lighting well, I might add some more from this project - we will see. have fun....
This one is a project i did for a client sometime ago, but wanted to test it with the new gi of cinema4D 11. I modeled with 3dsmax 2008 and rendered with maxwell but because maxwell is so slooooow i changed for vray, and now with the new cinema 4d 11 gi.
Software:Maya
Render: Mental ray
Composite: Adobe After Effects
Geometry: nurbs patch modeling, not trimed
This particular car is officially known as an 'Austin Seven Type AD tourer', but always referred to as a 'Chummy'. This one left the Austin factory at Longbridge, near Birmingham, in October 1927.
well here's the first rough layout of this project i'm doing, i say i'm probably around 30-40% done, just finished the textures and threw in a magic hour type atmosphere....
modeled everything in maya 8.5 , except the landscape, trees, and terrain which was done in Vue 6.6 extreme
This is just a headphone render test created in my spare time. I`m too lazy to add background and logo, so there be it :) created in max`09 and rendered with mentalray. any critics and suggestion are welcome :)
This is a study of modified Red Bull can with a tweeter, which can be used as a trompet (whistle) if you blow on in to it.
Bottom of can is empty so the whistle sound can freely emit into environment. Top of the can is the same as usual but it includes small whistle pipe instead of standard sealing.
Note that the image was clean & crisp before I slightly postprocessed the image in Photoshop.
I was messing around with this at first and it was chosen to be the spawn weapon for a mod I am working on. this is just a work render for dev purposes I will post a nice render when the paint job is done.
This is quite old piece of my artwork (July-2007). It isn't true 3D. It's mixture of photo, render and Photoshop postproduction. Feel free to comment.
:)
