Sustainability’ has been popularly defined as ‘meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability
of future generations to meet their own needs’. This definition is inherently vague because of the complexity and
difficulty in defining such a broadly encompassing idea. Since it is such a broad word that can be applied to nearly
anything, it leads to the dilution of the ideal and its homogenization.
The second problem lies in the actual root of the word ‘sustainability’. To me it implies that we should merely
sustain what we have today and preserve it for future generations. While this is a key component of what I believe
sustainability is, I think it is only half of the core ideal. Not only should we sustain what we have for the future but, also
correct and make better past mis-deeds. This means not only handing off to future generations what we have now,
but giving them something better than what we have right now.

A sustainable, respectful architecture with the environment must consider five factors: the ecosystem on the one that settles itself, the energetic systems that foment the saving, the materials of construction, the recycling, the reutilization of the residue and the mobility. A sustainable society is not possible without the complicity of the architects.

Besides the sustainable concept implies also these terms(ends):

energy efficiency
water conservation
waste management
electricity production
non-toxic materials
recycled materials
daylighting

Up an example of a plane of architecture bioclimatica with solar collectors plane in autocad wait use you as something
