Very nice model and smoke. Although there could be done something with the stone textrure in the background which looks distorted and smudged. Maybe some better lighting would also contribute to the whole image.
Motion blur looks weired. The wheels are blurred and the rest of the locomotive is not. Now it looks that only the wheels are moving and the locomotive is not.

well, locomotive looks great but background is not good, You schould i ther put more tim ein modleing it or fond a better background. Showing us wireframe and teling more about render settings would be a great idea.

first of all ... to tell the truth , it really looks like a WIP ( work in progress ) . as viettmann said the background was just to fill the gap .. u might use a horizon backdrop of a crop field with some trees .. or mountains . u could use images there as well but the one u used gives it an unprofessional look. for a steam engine like that , a more rusty texture in some places might do well . the smoke is excellent ! again the rail ways are too shiny like stainless steel for me , a rusty one will give it more authentic look . change the head light maan ! give it something like a glass or something as its a day scene and no way it should be lit like that . and about the tunnel . its black all the way . if u use Gi it SHould gradually fade out towards the inside of the tunnel . if u didnt use GI use fill light to create that effect . but hey , its just a wip .. isnt it :) waiting t se the update

not sure on the lighting tho, are you going for outdoors sunny? overcast? evening?
the motion blur seems wrong to me aswell, for the train to in focus and not motion blurred the camera must be tracking it and the background would motion blur aswell, but i suppose a high speed camera would only blur the wheels...
