Red Bull Can 3D

This is a study of modified Red Bull can with a tweeter, which can be used as a trompet (whistle) if you blow on in to it.

Bottom of can is empty so the whistle sound can freely emit into environment. Top of the can is the same as usual but it includes small whistle pipe instead of standard sealing.

Note that the image was clean & crisp before I slightly postprocessed the image in Photoshop.

I'm curious, as to whether or not you could have gotten a similar finished image using the 3D wrap tool in Photoshop CS3? I just recently saw it demo'd by Adobe at a local tradeshow and they make it look so easy.

I have a feeling though I may be mixing apples and oranges when it comes to what you've created. I'm just being a bit inquizitive.

Cheers!

The leftmost can's bottom looks like a pipe a little bit. Does not very much look like a solid end. If the top is such shiny metal, the bottom should have a little metal chrome effect, don't you think?

Click the image to open in full size.

And texture some printed letters on it using opacity map. That will look more convincing. And yes, the top needs be less shiny. And probably a little more detail... I don't know...RedBull is not sold here hehehe
