Exclamation Zbrush issue

Hey, i get this issue when i'm sculpting with for instance a "draw rectangle" with an alpha and mode set to Zadd, the other side of my model gets the Zsub :s Like the brush influences the whole object, not just the surface.

The only way i found around is, is to mask the other side of the model. It's probably one button i'm missing.. plz help

i think you are using the wrong brush, also have you checked your brush size, it is not huge is it?

Theres a setting under the brushes palette called 'backface masking'. If that's on it'll be your problem, otherwise under the Transform Palette see if you have Symmettry set to 'mirror'. Let us know how you go, good luck!
