How to uninstall 3ds max 2009

I installed the 3ds max 2009 with x-force keygen.
The application do not run and i'm receiving an error message about "failure to initiate".
Now I wannna uninstall it and i can not.
On control panel i have "3ds max 2008"?????????????????/
and requests a disk to install it. In the folder of 3ds max aint unistall application file. :omg:

What to do?

You can try your uninstaller program for uninstall 3d max 2009 or you can do registry clean by Tuneup program.

Start the 3dsmax 2009 installer from the original dvd and choose option uninstall

If you still have issues, those .msi installers can be a real ***** sometimes. I use the windows installer cleanup utility to delete the specific entry. I also use it when you get errors upon install like Error 1706 etc...

this cleanup utility do not find the installation!!!
If i use the installer with the /unistall option i get the "unable to find the package"!!!!

any ideas???
to install it again and than to try to uninstall it???

It doesn't sound like it ever really installed properly. I would nab another archive of 2009 and try installing it. Post back any issues with that. If you're done with it, just toss the folder at: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2009 if it even exists and get on with other things. Use a reg cleaner at your own discretion.
