Help with 3ds please

Everytime I click on my model it disappears... It never did this before and I don't think I pressed anything to activate a feature or something. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Chris

you must import *.3ds into a 3D-program. Or you must associate 3ds files with a viewer program like Deep View or Deep Exploration.

Not having a problem with the .3ds extension. Should have used a different title..LOL Any model I create or open in 3ds max has this problem. Even when I build a simple cube it disapears when I click on the middle mouse button. Any ideas?

when you click in your viewport, the model disapears, okay, does it display as a box instead of the complete model? try this: go under view - > display as bounding boxes. make sure its unchecked. another idea is to change you 3d driver under max, you can choose between software, directX and open gl. try to select a different mode than your running at the moment. hope it helps :-)
