The above link says it all.

This is the amazing software that was developed for the Lord of the Rings movies.

It was used to control thousands of CG 'agents' in the battle scenes.

Each agent is equiped with a 'brain', (a collection of movements and behaviours), which allow the complex interactions between agents to appear so convincing.

There are some pretty amazing and informative video clips on the Lord of the Rings official site.

It was actually made and used by "WetaDigital" as far as im aware.

hmm. i thought this was for photshop.lol. wut program can you use this with ? or is this a stand alone one ?
