Does anyone know how to crack Autodesk AliasStudio v2008, i have downloaded from hXXp://avaxhome.org/software/autodesk_aliasstudio_v2008_iso.html and the install.txt say this:
1.Install AliasStudio 2008
2.Before launching the application for the first time
open aw.dat from the crack dir with wordpad and replace the words "your_host"
with your ethernet address (no space. no dash) looks like 123456789123
Save and close wordpad.
Using the run utility and type: awkeygen.exe aw.dat
Copy aw.dat to C:\FLEXLM
3.Start AliasStudio
if you didnt copy the file in the right location or didnt edited it rigtht
it will ask you to paste the lic file or specify where it is ..
the question is i dont have a blody folder in C: called FLEXLM
and for me the only way to try to do something is as they say :
Using the run utility and type: awkeygen.exe aw.dat
Copy aw.dat to C:\FLEXLM

First you need to create a new folder in C: and name it FLEXLM.
Then copy both "awkeygen.exe" and "aw.dat" from the Crack folder
to the FLEXLM folder and do the following;
1. open the file "aw.dat" with Wordpad (NOT Notepad!)
and replace all instances of "your_host" with your Ethernet Address.
(To find your Ethernet Address go to Start -> Autodesk -> Common Utilities
and run the "FlexLM License Utilities" application.
Click on the second tab called "System Settings", highlight and copy the number in the "Ethernet Address" field.)
When you have replaced ALL instances of "your_host" with your Ethernet Address, remember to SAVE and CLOSE the aw.dat file.
2. open the command prompt (Start -> Run...), type in; "cmd" (without the two "´s)
3. in the command prompt window type in; "cd c:\flexlm" (without the two "´s)
(that will place you in the FLEXLM folder)
4. type in: "awkeygen.exe aw.dat" (again without the two "´s)
(that will put the correct license info into the aw.dat file)
5. Start AliasStudio 2008.
6. When the Licensing popup appears chose "I have a license I need to install.". Press Next.
7. Chose "I would like to install my license from a file" and navigate to the aw.dat file in your FLEXLM dir.
8. Finish the licensing and wait for the licensing popup to appear a second time.
9. Repeat the steps above ( 6. and 7. )(be sure you select the "aw.dat" the second time too, NOT the aw1.dat) and finish the licensing.
AliasStudio launches and asks you which modules you want to use.
You may want to select "Studio", which gives you both the advanced animation and advanced modelling tools.

It worked starry thanks , but in the program the mouse moves s o slowly, i tryed to work on the paint -sketch module but on the screen doesn't show the pencil lines just a white paper, do you have any idea of what is going on here thanks a lot.
i just have installed it becouse the blody Ba... of Autodesk don't want to release a new Sketchbook Pro version and now i have to installa 1gb suite just for the little sketch part that's not fair don't you think, thanks again.
AliasStudio is a 3D visualization application and not the application
you want to use if you're looking to do sketches and paintings á la
Sketchbook Pro.
To be able to work fluidly with AliasStudio you need a really fast workstation
with a *really* good graphic card (that fully suports OpenGL) due to AliasStudio's
gui overlay functions and to be able to work with your product models
in shaded view.
Parts of AliasStudio was called Alias PowerAnimator and was only running
on Silicon Graphics (SGI) IRIX workstations (starting at about $25.000) back in the 90's.
Alias PowerAnimator and Softimage were the two major applications used in Hollywood
for digital effects in movies such as Terminator 2, Jurrasic Park etc. etc.
Again, if you're into sketching and painting I'd suggest Corel's Painter X since that has tons
of nice tools and is one of the best applications if you want to
work digitally but still have that analog feeling =)
i have reinstalled the program and now it works just greate apart that i cant see anything. i have created a A4 white document but the all A4 is fill with black , for now this is the problem, any solutions, thanks
Thanks a lot starry but finally i unistalled the aplication ( it is not worth if you just need the (paint) module and i just installed my old Sketchbook Pro 2.0 , i have read that they are gonna launch another release not so soon but thats better than nothing, for me Sketchbook is by far the best software for sketching with the wacom tablets and i don't understand why they treat it like this but what can we do just wait, so thanks a lot .

hey, if you want a software for digital painting , i recomend you to use Artrage 2.8 , it works really fast (more than painter) and the interface offers more tools than sketchbook pro.
