Any Cobalt Users?

I've been looking for an app to create 3d objects to precise scale quickly and with good rendering capability for clear glass & clear plastic materials. Cobalt seems to be one of the better options at the moment and I was wondering if anyone has had much experience with it and might care to offer their insight to the pros and cons? Thanks for any info you might share!

cobalt?

jop, it is the coolest industrial design tool out there (my opinion).
there are also the alias studio tools and rhinoceros (wich is considered as the little brother from cobalt)

the pro:
it is veeeeery veery quick... compared with autocad.. muhahaha
it works precise (maaaany snapping options like tangential ecc)
the exchange between graphical work and numerical drawing is very quick (at the bottom you can adjust the most important values in realtime instead of using edit windows all the time.

cons:
expensive (but you don't have to buy it

do following:
go to the official site and download the video tutorials, they are really good.

greetings
