I should be upgrading soon, but I hope that I don't run into too many problems.

Updating should fix most prob's. Apply " Service Pack 2" first then apply "Productivity Booster 3". PB3 includes all bug fixes of SP2 (except for 4 minor fixes).

Every time I open Max ( this fault note appears!

Despite did a repair installation, uninstalled and reinstalled even deleted all mention to Max in the Registry I can't get rid of this!

i have 3dsmax 9 producitity booster 3
vray 1.5 rc5
T5200 processor 2Gb RaM
on my lap toshiba with windows vista
and when i'm rendering it goes faster than my PIV with 512 ram Desktop pc.
i have 3dsmax 9 in both... but when i'm trying to render scene with 200,000 polygons my pc could take about 10hrs rendering but it didn't crash...
and my lap... crash after a couple of minutes of render...
what can it be the cause ? windows vista ? vray ? max 9 ?
any suggestion...
it supposed to be better the render with a better computer... but it crash... and its driving me crazy...
