Well if you use Indesign for instance to create the layout and the design then you are able to write a pdf directly from Indesign.

Many applications offer a direct export to pdf in their default settings, too.

Thnx Dr NoXx, I mean that is what I used for web design, but I just did not know if it was the same when I looked at some of these publications. Though it makes sense they work the same as a website in many ways^^

Both guys are correct in what they say DrNoXx and Kai96. Yes, first of all, you must use 2D design softwares CorelDraw or Illustrator for the vectors, and QuarkXpress or Adobe Indesign for the layout. Yes, but those applications will give you the content that every page is gonna have. You will need to take those pages in images some of them the others in vector for making them lighter in their weight and make the final composition (final project) in Adobe Flash or Adobe Director.

From Flash you can take the file to his native SWF format (that can be seen in the 99% of the Internet browsers around the world), and also, you can export it as a projector file (.EXE), making it available as a standalone application and making it more suitable for off-line presentations or pocket Autorun interactive CD's.

I hope this comments may help you...

Bye...
