viewing image sequences

Can anyone recommend a tool for viewing image sequences? I´ve been working with Softimage Flipbook but it only installs in conjunction with XSI. I don´t use XSI but a tool like Flipbook would come in handy. It has a lot of cool little functions like reverse playback, looping, playing custom frame ranges and much moore.

Thanks everyone for helping out!

yeah, I love VirtualDub. Great program. Quicktime is nice also to load sequences, I use it more often than VD for that, as it can load tif, what VD can't (yet). FrameCycler Pro is the Rolls Royce for sequence viewing, as it is designed only for that, like the RAM player in 3dsmax. So you should have at least 2GB RAM to really enjoy FrameCycler Pro. I use it especially for HD sequences.
So, when you don't have too much RAM, VD and QT are good tools for sequence viewing (there's also FrameFixer).
