Hello again all,
I make animations so somthing has come up
recently as I put up my demo reel. Storyboarding. I just scratch
down up paper and not even whole scenes I little put together
as I go along. Now its a problem isnt a good way to work with
others.

So, I need your best recomendations on storyboarding software
untill make my own software in flash somehow through actionscript.

Please post links if possible to download I think many of need this
as well ( you dont have to post a link to respond and post it in the
appropiate catergory just link it here ) I need ideas of
whats out there.

It would be very helpful if it could do animatics.

Well after some research this turned out to be one of the best solutions
for what I am insterested in, Making TV commercials.

it called Frame forge studio = hxxp://www.frameforge3d.com/
you can get it on emule.

The difference between this and a regular 3D application is this will create
what is called an Animatic basically a rough draft of the entire sequence
timed to audio. It also has built notations marker for camera angles, times,
ect. Camera planning basically. This is what you usally need to prduce to
convey your ideas to others. Anyway I hope this helps others in some way.

Hi visuality =)

There is a nice and simple storyboard app called Springboard
Code:
http://6sys.com/Springboard/index.html
which apparently is easy to draw with.

It can also be found
Code:
http://www.avaxhome.ru/software/sringboard0_75__build_5.html.
Hope this helps in some way =)

How we Storyboard

Building the storyboard is an integral part of putting together an animated feature. The process provides not only a visual interpretation of the script, it also allows designers in each department to get a feel for what is being presented on screen.

If you are the director, editor, etc, why do you need storyboard software? in another words, storyboard is to comunicate with your crew, from the director to his camera man, editor and so on, just get some sketch of the main frames, rather have a complete script, and modified as you work.

Huh? A director needs the storyboard to see if the camera angles he/she chooses will work in sequence or work at all before spending time and money. Yes its also used by crew but to say a director doesnt need it
